The Chestnut Weeks will take place again this year. In October San Genesio will once again be dominated by the chestnut. A varied programme awaits you with various festivals, the Keschtnmorkt and guided chestnut hikes.
Did you know that… San Genesio is the village with the most chest nut trees in South Tyrol?
During San Genesio Chestnut Weeks you will experience the „REAL TÖRGGELEN“ in traditional „törggele“ restaurants in Avigna and Cologna.
In San Genesio and Valas you can enjoy in participating restaurants exquisite chestnut-based specialites.
Also various programs, which allow you to combine culinary delights with pleasant excursions, are waiting for you to be discovered!
